Welcome, Discover Qi Ai (蕲艾), a legendary herb revered for over a millennium from Qichun County, China.
Celebrated as the “King of Mugwort,” it thrives in a unique microclimate alongside the Yangtze River, nurturing a superior density of active compounds and essential oils.

This exceptional potency translates into a deeper, more penetrating warmth during moxibustion therapy, effectively targeting discomfort, promoting smooth energy flow (Qi), and fostering profound relaxation. Unlike common mugwort, Qi Ai offers a smoother, more aromatic experience with enhanced therapeutic benefits.

Manufacture

Production Process

1. Harvesting and Drying Mugwort: Mugwort is harvested during the season when its medicinal properties are at their peak (usually around the Dragon Boat Festival) and dried until completely dry.

2. Making Moxa Floss: The dried mugwort is ground and sieved multiple times to remove impurities and hard stems, resulting in fine, fluffy moxa.

3. Aging Moxa Floss: The prepared moxa needs to be stored in a cool, dry place to age naturally, typically for a year or more, to remove its dryness and soften its medicinal properties.

4. Rolling and Forming: The aged moxa is evenly spread on special paper and tightly rolled into a cylindrical shape by hand.

5. Cutting: The rolled moxa sticks are cut according to pre-set dimensions to form individual moxa sticks.

6. Quality Inspection: Samples of the cut moxa sticks are inspected to ensure that their size, weight, and combustion performance meet standards.

Moxibustion Method

1. Burn the tip of the moxa stick thoroughly and s timulate the acupuncture point 1-2 inches below the skin.
2. Place the moxa stick on the acupuncture point and move it back and forth
3. Place one end of the moxa stick on the moxibustion area up and down
